Australia Wind Energy 2024

EDF Renewables Australia had the privilege of participating in Australia Wind Energy 2024 (#AuWE2024), held from 10th to 11th July 2024 at MCEC Melbourne. This event brought together over 5,000 energy enthusiasts, making it the largest wind energy event in Australia and the entire APAC region.
Our CEO, Dave Johnson, was invited to share his insights on “What Can Australia Learn from Offshore Wind Development in France?” It was great to hear Dave discuss key strategies, overcoming challenges, and the role of policy and regulatory frameworks in fostering a thriving wind energy sector. He also highlighted the latest technical innovations and advancements in offshore wind energy, providing a comprehensive understanding of future trends and technologies that could shape Australia’s wind industry.
The event featured unparalleled networking opportunities, connecting representatives from Australia’s federal and state governments, domestic and international investors, developers, network providers, financiers, EPCs, and top-tier equipment and solution providers.
